Bradley K. Richardson, P.C. was founded by Bradley K. Richardson in 2006 after spending seven years in private practice with a multiple office firm. Bradley K. Richardson was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2000 after graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is admitted to practice in South Carolina, the Federal Court for the District of South Carolina, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina.
Brad’s practice areas are focused on real estate law. He has represented thousands of purchasers and sellers of real estate over the course of his career and has represented several financial institutions in foreclosure and collections matters. Additionally, he accepts cases that involve title clearance, land disputes, and other real estate related issues. Brad is a licensed title insurance agent with both First American Title Insurance Company and WFG National Title Insurance Company. He has also been a featured speaker for the National Business Institute on foreclosure issues in South Carolina. Brad serves on the Real Estate Practices Council of the South Carolina Bar, and he is an adjunct professor teaching Real Estate Law for Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton. He has been proud to accept these positions offered to him by members of the community who are confident in his experience and his capabilities.
In addition to his professional achievements, he was honored to be named to Anderson Independent Mail’s 20 Under 40 list in 2012, which recognizes community leaders under the age of 40. Brad is proud to have served on the Board of Directors for Anderson Interfaith Ministries since 2008. He currently serves the organization as the Chairman of the Board. Brad's devotion to community extends to his work philosophy as well; taking care of people is his paramount concern. Brad is dedicated to forging lasting relationships with his clients and their families by providing trusted counsel and guidance through the home buying experience. Brad and his team enjoy working closely with their clients to ensure they are receiving the attention they deserve when making a life decision as significant as buying a new home.
Danny is a South Carolina native from Mount Pleasant. His legal experience began in 2005 and includes a diverse array of capacities that he has filled in both South Carolina and Florida. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and finance from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC, graduating with honors. He subsequently attended the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL where he performed pro bono legal services with the Nassau County Counsel's office and accompanied his professor in Maritime Law to a U.S. Supreme Court oral argument. Danny was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2009; he is also a member of the Greenville County Bar Association and is a licensed title insurance producer.
For the past few years, Danny has served as the supervising attorney of a Greenville law office, functioning as HUD’s designated closing agent for the upstate of South Carolina. In this capacity he has performed title reviews, prepared title documents and deeds, negotiated contracts, and has worked closely with HUD officials in contract execution, averaging 25-30 closings per week. He has closed over 1,500 HUD/foreclosed transactions in his career, and he has presented HUD instructional materials to real estate agents in over 25 seminars throughout South Carolina. Additionally, Danny's legal tenure is comprised of securities fraud analysis, small claims collections, equipment and commercial lease agreements, employee representation, government contract dispute resolution, copyright, bankruptcy hearings, and mediation. Danny has used his extensive HUD real estate closing experience to transition into a successful real estate attorney in the Powdersville and Greenville areas.
Danny's passion for law extends to his home life as well. His wife, Bess, operates her own family law practice in downtown Greenville. Danny cares deeply for his home state and his local community, and he enjoys exploring everything that the upstate area has to offer -- when he and his wife aren't participating in Greenville’s lively downtown scene, they enjoy hiking, running, and playing tennis.
Michael’s legal education and experience extend across Columbia, Anderson, and Aiken, South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business in Columbia where he majored in both finance and real estate, and he then went on to graduate from the University’s School of Law. Michael has been able to harness his blended educational background in real estate and banking in the performance of his duties as an attorney, enabling him to to approach the "closing table" with a more complete and comprehensive understanding of the many intricacies involved in these complicated transactions.
Michael worked at the South Carolina Statehouse in Columbia for the House Medical, Military, and Public Municipal Affairs Committee. He then worked in Aiken for the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site where he prepared leases and permits as well as participated in contract negotiations. He also gained experience researching case law and legislative history pertaining to environmental, contract, and employment law.
Since 2013, Michael has committed his time and effort to Bradley Richardson, P.C. where he has focused on the practice of real estate law in various capacities, including the performance of title reviews, the preparation of title documents and deeds, and the drafting of leases and contracts. Additionally, Michael handles wills and power of attorneys as well as foreclosure work.
Nathan R. Williams
Nathan is a native of Virginia, but has spent nearly his entire life in South Carolina. Nathan graduated from Eastside High School in Taylors, SC and went on to attend the University of South Carolina for his undergraduate degree. Nathan graduated from USC with a B.A. in Media Arts. After graduation, he went on to attend law school at the Charleston School of Law.
While attending the Charleston School of Law, Nathan served in various leadership roles in campus organizations. During law school, Nathan served as a law clerk for the Berkeley County Public Defender, Cook & Kook, P.A. of Columbia SC, and the Aiken County Solicitor’s Office.
Nathan began work with Barton & Cain, P.A. as a law clerk in August of 2013, and upon passing the bar exam became an associate attorney in November, 2013. Nathan then became a shareholder of Barton & Cain, P.A. prior to establishing Cain & Williams, Ltd. Co. with his law partner, Paul Cain, in July of 2015. Nathan and his wife, Shelley, enjoy spending time outdoors exercising with J.J., their black lab mix.
